Virtual Zoom practices will officially begin on Thursday, May 7 at 5pm. To insure a secure environment, registration is required to participate in virtual practices. Currently, Little League anticipates in-person practice to begin in June. When this begins, masks will be provided for any athlete that does not have one. Equipment will be sanitized before, during and after each practice. Gloves will be taken home after each practice to prevent glove-sharing. All possible measures including social distancing and limited number of players per square foot of green space will be monitored. Thankfully, baseball is a naturally socially distant sport and coaches have been instructed to only include drills and conditioning that keep participants spread out. Games are tentatively scheduled to begin July 4. If possible and safe, players and their families should meet at the Golden Dome at 9:30am for a photo followed by the Parade of Teams. In the event large groups over 50 are not allowed by July 4, teams will have their first games at their home parks. Looking forward to a great season!
